Louis Armstrong Playing Trumpet

Our AppyKids band, Beats by Appies, are delighted to announce the release of their latest song, ‘When the Saints go Marching in’. Help your child express their creative skills and learn through music with the AppyKids Toy Box App.

A Jazz standard, particularly associated with the city of New Orleans, it has been recorded by many jazz and pop artists. In the 1930’s the great Louis Armstrong was one of the first musicians to make the tune a hit and now is a staple with all big band and dixie land jazz bands. In Beats by Appies we have added a little twist to this popular track with some extremely distorted rock guitars courtesy of Super Happy and also a funky clav that is reminiscent of Stevie Wonder.

Music is part of teaching expressive arts and design, one of the main areas of learning. Your child will have so much fun interacting with this song and learning through music. With its upbeat tempo and selection of instruments, which your child can control by switching them on and off, it enables your child to learn the sound of each individual instrument and create their own version of the song.

Join in the fun, play Beats by Appies with your child today and watch them tap into their musical abilities.
